You just have
He slowly turned to look at her with an uninteresting gaze. He wasn't sure why she had come over but it's not like he could've told her not to. Midnight black ears were now perked and fully listening to the Estrella Mountain dog. 'Moping!? He wasn't moping but just simply thinking.' His reply to her first question was a simply grunt. True, he didn't care if it angered her that he didn't answer. He listened to her next set of words that sounded a bit angered. "The meeting I hold no interest for. It's merely dogs getting together and speaking to one another." He spoke in a low and rough tone.
to learn to forget
A female she may be but he could tell from looking at her she wasn't to be underestimated. He wouldn't admit it thought seeing he wasn't one for compliments of any sort. His mind once again wondered off to Ravage and the same frown was once again shown. No matter how hard he tried to conceal his emotions his eyes betrayed him. The hurt and pain was clear even though he didn't speak a word of it. He wasn't someone to be labeled emotional. Once again he stopped his train of thoughts to look at the female. Jaws parted to release rough and cold tunes that were labeled his own.
About the people
"Don't you have friends to be with or something. Or is it that they don't get along with you that well? If you want an answer to your first question I'm not moping but simply thinking. Someone has betrayed him and left me to suffer." Although some would say that was not true he wasn't one to take abandonment that well. He didn't know how she would respond but he had a pretty good guess. Some would tell him to just be kind and he wouldn't be alone but he wasn't going to change for them. That's how he was and that's how he was going to stay. If someone truly cared for him they would like him the way he was.

Reverie frowned, her eyes blazing as she listened to Leon's reply. The brute was obviously depressed. But that didn't give him the excuse to show such blatant disregard for gang rituals! Such as respect your superiors and attend gang meetings. A growl escaped the Esterela Mountain Dog's fawn hued jaws.
"Listen here, bub. I am a guardian and therefore you're superior. So you're to show some respect, got it?" Reverie snapped, eyes narrowed.
"It sounds to me like you're moping." She added shortly, raising an eyebrow and snorting rudely. She ignored his comment about friends. She was happy for Tyrant and Valentina, and wasn't feeling as angry as usual. In her normal, grumpy state, she would've picked up on Leon's petty dig at her popularity and leapt at his throat. But now, in this rare good mood, it would probably take at least two more minor insults to really anger her.

((Thank you! I noticed that many people were far more advanced then me and it made me feel intimidated. So, I decided to get off me lazy butt and put more feeling into my posts. XD Beware of what I have posted next but not only because it is a bit long but because Leon has just lost his mind. o.0))
He listened to the angered vixen and her biting words. Respect?!? Was that all she wanted was for him to show her fake respect because he truly couldn't respect another. Blood boiled and earthly brown optics burned with fire. She should have just minded her own business! Should have left him there to drown in his own depression! She should have let another piece of him die inside like everyone else had! But no, she had to come over and poke her unwanted nose into his business. Oh yes, he was absolutely over come with undying fury. Had he gone mad? Insane? Completely out of his mind?!? He would not attack as he wished so much to. No. He would instead show his fury in simply put words instead of actions. Jaws parted to release chillingly venom filled tunes.
"Respect? Why, because you hold a high rank? If I indeed gave you respect as you have commanded then it would be nothing but a false lie. I mean no ill judgment to you and your group but only wished to be left alone. Kick me out if you must but know I will not show a single ounce of respect until you have earned it not because you think it is owed to you."
He no longer held control over his being or emotions that were now flowing so freely. Ears were no longer perked as they flattened back but not in a challenging way but just a sign of anger. Anyone who was sane at the moment would tell him he was acting like a foolish child that knew no better. He would gladly accept any comments they had on him. It would show what they truly thought of him and how his mixed up thoughts of them should be finished. How long he had kept his anger and hatred for the world pint up? No one would know really unless they knew him since birth. Some would tell him others had much more horrible pasts then him and he would agree with that as well but the bull was currently a time bomb waiting to go off. This abandonment was the last straw for him and he would take it no more!
"Call me depressed, label me insane, and think of me as an idiot but I shall not show one sign of disagreement! I have let others walk all over me for far too long! I shall no longer take such abuse! Say I am digging my own grave with every word that flows from my jaws but I will welcome it. Death is something that will come sooner or later and none are immune to it's wrath!"
Breath was now labored as the bull was absolutely full over his head. Yes, the female had done nothing to deserve such treatment but it was just the unfortunate fact that she had walked in on the wrong moment at the wrong time. He truly couldn't help the feelings that were so foreign to him and that fact he had no control what so ever. He knew that he would be treated the same as he treated her and would most likely be faced with an angered Lord. But just as soon as the anger had come it was gone and no replaced with a deeply depressed bull. Call him pitiful but he would cut you to the chase and call him that himself. It was clear that he had just had a emotional and mental breakdown. His words no longer held venom but were instead extremely light and chillingly pain filled.
"Just can't take it anymore...I just...can't. My body can no longer stand the blows. You did not deserve such treatment Lady Reverie. I give you my greatest apologies although you deserve much more. So, strike if you will but I must admit that I deserve every last blow. Know that I hold nothing against you it was just an ugly event such as this was unknowingly sent in your direction."
Head was hung and banner was now drooping as it dangled lifelessly behind him. Every last defense was lowered and he set himself wide open for any anger she wished to act out. His words were true and he deserved whatever came his way. Big and cold he may have seemed but it was a mere disguise for a abused pup that had lost his way. As a young one he felt so insecure, so weak, and so pathetic that he wanted to grow up far too fast. He would push everything close to him away and welcome of the feeling of being an outcast. It was truly the only way he had ever felt safe for once in his life. A rough chuckle was released as gaze lowered to the ground.
"I look like a pitiful pup don't I? I guess I should have seen this coming sooner or later. The great big bad Leon, broken down and depressed to no end. You think I'm a weakling who is insane don't you? So, will you strike me down as you rightfully deserve to?"
He knew she wouldn't give a care about him but of course that's a kind of opinion on someone who you only met for a couple of seconds. He didn't want to see the anger or pity in her eyes that he imagined she would show. The normal defiance and burning fight in his eyes has dulled as it no longer seemed like him. No, he was far from his regular self and didn't quite know if he would recover from his meltdown. He counted every second that would past by as he awaited the strike he was sure that would end his life. The one that would send him into a dull and darkened place as he would cease to exist. At that moment a poem was being told in his mind.
'I've lost all feeling I don't even feel alive Sometimes I can't wait Until the day I die'

Her good mood was gone. Leon's lengthy, rage filled speech had seen to that. A low growl trembled in Reverie's throat, and her hackles rose. She lifted her tail high in dominance, lifting a lip to reveal glistening canines. However, before she could retaliate verbally, Leon's tone of voice changed, his words becoming softer. Reverie's growl faltered, then dispapeared, and she frowned, confused.
"Humph," She muttered under her breath as Leon apologised, but she said no more, instead listening to the onyx hued brute pour his heart out. As she listened, she grew more and more uncomfortable. By the time he had finished, she was at a loss of what to say.
Reverie was not a dog that was used to being confided in as intimately as Leon just had. She was not talented in the comforting department. Her words stuck in her throat. How the heck should she know how to deal with this situation!? She had always been the fighter, while Tyrant healed the wounds she made. She couldn't exactly fight now. The poor dog before her was on the verge of insanity.
The Esterela Mountain Dog found herself glancing over at where Tyrant sat. But he was busy with newcomers. Her gaze then flitted to Valentina by his side. No luck. Her friend was seeing to the Mountain dog she had brought in earlier. In a moment of panic, Reverie turned her gaze on Tyrant's sister, Aphrodites. If she was anything like her brother she'd be able to... nope. She was engaged in conversation.
Reverie turned back to Leon then. She would have to deal with him herself, in the only way she knew how. She didn't know how to sympathise.
"Stop pitying yourself!" She said bruskly, tapping Leon smartly on the foreleg. "Whatever's happened to you can't be that bad. You're in a gang, and we've got you're back, so stop moaning. I'm not about to 'strike you down', but I will if you continue like this. Get ahold of yourself!"
Reverie finished loudly, then puffed out her chest. That was quite a good speech, she though. Not too long, not too soft, but not too angry either. It was as good as it got.

Aphrodites grinned at Espio. She noticed puzzlement flash briefly across his features and tilted her head to the side, waiting for an explanation. None came, so Aphro continued as if nothing had happened, not wishing to intrude.
"Hello, Espio Nyoka. Nice to meet you too!" She exclaimed. Her gaze quickly swept over the clearing, resting on her brother and Valentina, before she turned back to Espio, still smiling.
"What brings you to this part of the world?" She asked good naturedly, whip-like tail beating the earth as she tilted her head to the side once more, ears perked.

For some reason even he didn't understand, the fox-dog gave the tiniest hint of a smile as she spoke, and looked a bit embarrassed for one of the first times in his life when she first looked strangely at him.
She piped up with another query, and his face became suddenly guarded. "Well...I came because of...of Trisscar, the shaman." He indicated her with a small tilt of his head.
Espio wasn't one to be social, but that seemed nessicary in this gang. To be noticed you had to be there or have a high rank. He wasn't in his old gang anymore, so he didn't have that leadership. He fixed Aphro in his midnight stare and asked softly, "Er...what about you, Aphrodites...?" He gave a smirk as he caught Cody staring at him, but brought his attention back to the Ridgeback soon after.

Ooc: Aw! Aphro is so nice! hehe I like her. Um, I still can't think of anything to say or post so I'll just say Laion slipped out the back, and he's still annoyed about a series of things, so maybe after the meeting is over I'll start a board with him or something. Valieh's still...there...around Tyrant somewhere I guess, just takin it all in. I guess she's freed up now though, since Cass never posted. -shrugs- Ah well. :3

"Ah, Trissacar." Aphrodites said with a smile, nodding. "Tyrant mentioned her... I havn't met her yet, though."
Her smile faultered as Espio questioned her, but only briefly. I must be strong, she thought in determination.
"I was looking for my brother. And I found him." She laughed softly, glancing briefly at the Top Dog.

ooc: I'm just going to pretend that Lightning and co. replied to say their names and that they wanted to join. This is taking too long. Grr.
Tyrant beamed at the new husky trio, slender auburn plume swaying. He dipped his head in acceptance.
"Well, welcome to the gang, then," He said warmly.
"Cosha, Lightning, I'd like to make you both scouts," He smiled at the two female's, then turned to the male. "But I think the rank of hunter would fit you best. Please, feel free to socialise or explore the territory."
Dipping his head once more, Tyrant turned away from the new gang members, back to Valentina and Casimir. He stepped to his mate's side and nuzzled her ear, then grinned at Casimir.
"I've decided on a suitable rank for you, for now," He said. "I'm going to make you a hunter. That ok?" He tilted his head, kind brown eyes meeting Cass's.

Storm went back to her spot, knowing that she probably would be ignored by the rest of the gang. She was one half-wolf within a mass of dogs. She didn't mind, but it was good to finally have a place where she could rest in peace, knowing that she wouldn't be driven out the next morning.

ooc: Ok... sorry for all this kind of powerplaying, but I'm going to pretend that Cass accepted. I need to get this moving! Now I'm going to accept Jake!
bic: Tyrant grinned at Casimir, dipping his head. The ranks of the gang were swelling. Everything was running smoothly. He couldn't of wished for a better life now that his sister was back and he had a wonderful mate.
He turned to Valentina as he thought of her and smiled fondly, then slowly got to his feet. He hadn't patrolled the borders in a while, and, since his gang had gotten quite popular, he decided it was a good time to go and have a scout around. Perhaps he would look in the city, even, to check if there were any loners there looking to join a gang.
The Top Dog thrust his muzzle heavenwards and issued two rough, booming barks, informing the gang members that the meeting was officially over and taht they were free to disperse if they so wished. Then, he turned back to his mate.
"I'm going to go and scout around the city." He informed her. Then, his spirits high, he turned and trotted to the bottom of the slope suddounding the hollow, bounding swiftly up it to level ground before disapearing into the foliage.

She'd been calmly sitting, just looking around and taking it all in...the conversations, the voices, the faces and the names that went with them. The scarlet wolf dog had risen to her feet at the outburst between Reverie and Leon, but now she turned back to Tyrant as he spoke to her.
"I don't see why you don't send the scouts for that," she said jokingly, but then smiled at him. They'd been in the Hollow for a long time...fresh air sounded nice. "I'll come with you." she muttered, and looked to Reverie to offer her friend a smile, and then she caught a movement at the entrance of the Hollow.
She flicked her icy eyes over to see Laion padding quietly out of the Hollow himself. It seemed as though he felt her eyes on him, for he stopped and looked over his inky shoulder at her. A meaningful look passed between them and Valentina's smile faded. Laion nodded to her and was out of sight by the time Tyrant had begun his way up the slope. The wolf-dog padded swiftly at his heels, flexing and stretching. It would be good to get things moving again.

He looked up at her and gave a weak smile that looked like it was barely there. The sudden outburst had sunk in and he slowly regained his feelings. The soft and warm look only lasted for a while as his old facade returned. He looked as if nothing had happened but the two earthly betrayers showed his great respect for the large femme. Jaws parted to release the demon's tunes but different then before. "I am greatly sorry and will stop this. I knew I was going to break down sooner or later but didn't know it was going to be over a femme." He gave a light chuckle but his features had softened as he looked at her. She had tried to comfort him as best as she possibly could and he was grateful for that.
He sighed but not one of sadness but of relief. He couldn't show how grateful he was but would most likely respect the Mountain Dog as she had wished. His life now belonged to her seeing as he was close to wanting to die and she had spared him. Never would he make this mistake again and was thinking of just avoiding femmes all together. He wouldn't need them as long as he had great friends that had his back as Reverie had said. He looked at her one last time before turning and slowly walking away. He turned to look over at her and words escaped his jaws. "I wish you the best as a Guardian Reverie and hope your life is much easier." By the way his words flowed it sounded as if he was saying his last good-bye but it was really a simple see you later.
