Light aubern paws pounded the earth, slender tail moving at lightning speed. Muzzle was rasied, following a familiar scent, and dark eyes sparkled with barely contained excitement.
The slender, female rhodesian ridgeback skidded to a halt as a line of foliage loomed before her. She stepped forwards sniffing it, then smiled broadly, whining with happiness. This was it!
Aphro lifted a paw, parting the foliage so that her slender frame could slip through. She found herself teetering on the edge of a steep, if small, slope. Dark eyes surveyed the clearing for a moment, finally stopping on a broad shouldered aubern brute standing proudly in the center, lowering his head and standing patiently as he awaited the arrival of his gang mates.
"Tyrant!" Aphro called, and plummeted down the slope towards her brother, barking her delight.[/size]
---------
Tyrant turned sharply at the sound of his name, and Aphro's scent hit him like a battering ram. He took a step back, confused, then his dark eyes met hers and a deep, joyous bark was released.
"Aphro!" He yelled, leaping forwards and meeting her at the bottom of the hill. The two siblings rammed into each other, falling to the floor and tumbling over and over a few times. Then, they were on their feet again, covering each other's muzzles with affectionate licks and nuzzles.

Storm raced after her guide. The scent of the gang was stronger now, filling the air with it's odour. She stopped, aware that the dog in front of her was the leader. She bowed her head, indicating that she recognised his higher position. "Greetings, I am Storm. I wish to join your gang." Her eyes narrowed as she realized that Aphro was his sister.

Laion looked from Tyrant to Espio and back as he spoke, saying he'd leave the siblings in privacy. The wolf gave a low huff of disapproval, that probably only he himself could hear. He was grateful Espio had gotten his chance, although he was still unsure about leaving them alone, after Lord Tyrant had padded inside the den. Then he realized, with round blue eyes, that Espio was crying and he blinked at him for a moment, then turned on his heel and padded into the dark foliage, snow flying off the barren bushes as he disappeared without saying a word.---------------------------------------------------------- As the black fox dog began to sob quietly, the husky femme's emotionless look was replaced with concern and complete bewilderment before she could catch herself. Tyrant trotted off, and she looked after her mate confusedly as he did so, her black lips slightly parted in disbelief. She looked back to Espio, and stepped towards him, then cocked her head to the side, unsure what to say. She looked from Triss to her male counterpart. "Espio---" she began.
But just then Tyrant burst into the Hollow. Again. She did a double take, as she realized that wasn't possible; he was already in the large den! She blinked confusedly, as a shout she didn’t quite catch was emitted, but it was in a female voice. She thought for a split second that she was seeing double, but then the sleek figure and her mate collided and began rolling about, then flew up again, another shout emitted. This time she caught it. Aphro. She shook her head and flaunted up to the two, and seated herself close to Tyrant, looking back and forth between them with a slight smile on her face, although puzzlement still shone faintly in her crystal eyes. She waved her thick plume warmly. ”I’ll take it you two…know each other,” she said in a questioning tone.
Just then a black figure, part-wolf, she noticed with a jolt, streaked into the Hollow, not far after Tyrant’s long-lost friend. She gave her the up-down with her icy optics, rising to her feet as the midnight femme seemingly cast a glare at the other new fae. Valentina wiped the confusion off her face, to be replaced with a look of faint interest in Storm, although when she looked over her shoulder at her mate, her expression was questioning, wondering how he'd take some one bursting into the Hollow whom they'd never seem before.
She looked back at Storm, velvet auds pricked forward, but the whole rest of the half-wolf's body was at ease. As always, she said the first thing that came to mind. "How did you get here?"

Tyrant and Aphro stepped back from each other, panting happily, eyes harbouring an almost identical sparkle as their gazes washed each other, taking in each others appearances hungrily as if they had never seen each other before.
A questioning voice caused Tyrant's head to turn, and he smiled warmly at Valentina, lowering his broad muzzle to kiss her maw lightly.
"Yes," He laughed, turning back to his sister, who was watching him with raised eyebrows.
"Valentina," Tyrant began, ignoring his sister's playfully mocking look. "This is Aphrodites, my twin sister. Aphro, this is Valentina. My mate and the Lieutenant of my gang."
Tyrant's smiled broadened. "Today certainly has been a day for reunions, hasn't it," He said, plume thumping the ground.
The brute's expression suddenly sombred, his tail pausing mid-thump. He got to his feet and stepped forwards to lick his sister's nose.
"What happened to Brick, Aphro?" He asked gentley, soft eyes staring into hers.
------
"Hello, Valentina," Aphro said with a smile, dipping her head. She turned as Tyrant adressed her gentley, blinking up at him for a moment. Her eyes were suddenly extremely sad, and Tyrant had to brace himself as she fell against him, suddenly unable to hold herself up.
"He... he's dead, Tyrant. And..." She choked, as if she couldn't bear to say it. "The puppies, they... they..."
Aphro trailed off with a sob, and Tyrant lowered his head to nuzzle her neck comfortingly, murmering, "I'm so, so sorry."
Don't be sad, Aphro, A deep voice filled Aphrodite's mind, and her worries were released in a long sigh. Be happy. Live for all of us, Aphro smiled and looked up at her brother, eyes shimmering.
"It's ok, Tyrant. Time has healed me, and I will see them again one day. For now, I shall live for all of us."
Tyrant smiled down at his sister. She was always so brave, so strong. Sometimes she amazed her. He dipped his head in a nod and moved backwards, deciding to change the subject. He knew if Aphro needed support, she would come to him. They were very close.
"You must meet Reverie, Aphro," Tyrant said warmly, with a soft chuckle. "She's... wonderful!" He winked at Val before continuing. "And Trissacar, our shaman. And everyone else!" Tyrant beamed, and Aphro nodded, suddenly looking tired.
"Rest, Aphro," Tyrant said gentley, getting to his feet and gesturing to his nest. Aphro smiled gratefully, nodded to Valentina, then padded heavily to the nest, where she curled up and was asleep in seconds.

((Aww, everyone forgot about Storm )) Storm gazed at the fae called Valentina. "I followed Aphro here. I wish to join the gang." She bowed her head in a submissive gesture, because of the scent of superiority that emanated from the other dog. "Are you a half-wolf? You look like one.Forgive me, I am Storm. And you are?"

ooc: -hugs- Sorry! lol. I will reply now!
bic: Tyrant watched his sister go, then turned to the dark wolf-dog now adressing Valentina. He stepped up beside his mate and dipped his head in greeting, realising that the femme wasn't invading, but had merely been guided here by his sister.
"Greetings, Storm, I am Tyrant, Top Dog of this gang. Excuse the delay in adressing you," He smiled apologetically.
"You are welcome to join the gang if you wish. I think you should make a good hunter. What do you say?"
Tyrant smiled. He had once tested members to see what positions they deserved. But he had decided that that was to time consuming. Besides, he could always change their position if push came to shove.

Storm nodded. "I would very much like to be a part of your gang. And yes, Iam quite a good hunter." Her golden eyes glanced at Aphro's retreating back, before resting once more on the leader. She smile grimly, she hadn't hunted in a real forest for quite a while. No doubt she would have to resort to begging.

Tyrant smiled, dipping his head in a nod.
"Well, that's settled, then," He said, blinking sleep from his eyes. He had called a pack meeting, but he now decided that it could wait for the morning. The gang members would, most likely, arrive at the Hollow and go to sleep. Which was exactly what Tyrant intended on doing.
A wide yawn streched his maw, and Tyrant smacked his lips before turning to Valentina and flashing her a brief, sleepy smile.
"I'm going to hit the hay now, Val," He said, and leaned forwards to lick her nose before turning and padding over to his nest, which was already occupied by Aphro. So, Tyrant curled up on the ground, resting his head on his paws and shutting his eyes.

Valentina was lost for words at what to say to Aphro, although her icy eyes softened as she watched her cry, a hurt frown dawning her features. Not knowing what to say, she turned away from Tyrant and his sister, early memories of her own pack, her family, flashing through her mind, along with Laion's words. They're all gone.
She'd forgotten about the presence of the other wolf-dog, caught up in Tyrant and Reverie's reunion, and lost in thoughts of her own pack that was now dead.
At the black femme's words however, Valentina wiped the sadness off her face, and pricked her velveteen ears back into life as Storm spoke. She acknowledged Storm's light bow, and offered her the dramatic, low-sweeping bow that was becoming a trademark of hers. She smiled slyly up at Storm. "I am Valentina, my pleasure to meet you Storm." she said. She straightened, tail sweeping behind her as she tried not to focus on Tyrant and Aphro's actions behind her, hoping to offer them some privacy, although their words still seeped into her wolven ears.
"And yes," she said to Storm, the faintest hint of question and coldness behind her silky voice. "Although I don't see what it matters, I am half a wolf."
As her mate stepped forward to speak to Storm, Valentina turned around to look at Aphro, a near image of Tyrant herself. Her crystal eyes softened, the corners of her black lips frowned, out of sympathy and memories. She felt strongly for the dog. She wondered suddenly where her dear friend Reverie was, and how long before her brother returned.
She whipped her head back around as her mate spoke to her however, a small smile dawning her features just looking at him. She nodded, watched him curl up with a smile still on her face, then looked back at Aphro. She wondered briefly if there was any way she could console her, being in somewhat of the same situation, but she shook her head at this thought. Aphro would most certainly turn to her own brother for such matters.
Looking around, she realized she had yet to truly make a nest for herself in the Hollow, and a smile flashed across her face, as she realized she never really needed one. She padded over to Tyrant, careful not to make too much noise, and curled up against his back, resting her creamy muzzle on her paws, her red tail flopping over her nose as her eyes slowly closed and she drifted off to sleep.
ooc: done. So when is it morning?

The sun's rays peeked over the horizon, bathing the world in a soft red glow, which illuminated the large mountain dog standing at the bottom the the slope. Reverie turned her head to glare at the line of thorn bushes.
"Hurry up, lazy mutt," She mumbled to herself, eyes narrowing as her head turned so that her dark eyes could survey the sleeping Hollow.
Gaze rested on the sleeping Valentina, and she was instantly suspicious. Why did the wolf-dog have her head on Tyrant's shoulder? Why were they so close...?
After a moment's indignant anger, Reverie's face melted into a smile, her eyes taking on a rare twinkle as she gazed at her best friend, and her friend, curled up together like... mates, Reverie smiled, forgetting momentarily about Casimir, and began towards her friends...
---
Tyrant's eyes blinked open, and a sleepy smile shaped his maw as he felt Valentina's head on his shoulder, her side against his. He yawned widely, then started slightly as he saw Reverie padding over to him. Oh no... He thought, getting carefully to his feet and bracing himself. He had never assumed that Reverie would take his wonderful news well...
"Congratulations!" Reverie startled him entirely by barking this, bounding forwards to lick his maw. After a confused moment, Tyrant laughed and nuzzled her.
"Thanks, Reverie." He said, smiling genuinely down at his friend, who smiled right back at him.
"When did you ask her?" She probed, grinning, tail wagging. Tyrant chuckled.
"Last night," He said happily.
ooc: That post looks so unfinished... oh well. heh.
