She turned her head when she heard a yawn. She gave a light smile to the bull that she had met a while back. "Hello. So, how do you like this gang so far?" Her tone was soft yet a hint of sadness slipped out. It was true, she hadn't made many friends but she was able to move on. Light honey optics glanced over at the rest but returned to Cody. Many dogs had joined and she didn't know many of them. She felt out of place but she kept her feelings to herself.
She didn't like to have a lot of attention on her seeing as it made her feel uneasy. Auds continued to stay perked as she listened to the many new voices. A social dog she was but she had felt a bit depressed lately. She didn't want to looked at as some complaining dog so she didn't speak a word of it. 'I have everything I've ever wanted but I still feel so empty.' She snapped out of her thoughts and concentrated on Cody.

As an ebony lupine trotted up to her, the small vixen quivered. Her ears shot up at the strange question and introduction. "Hello," she said very quietly, backing away a few inches. "My name is Trisscar. As you've heard, I am...the shaman of the gang...." She tried to sound friendly but her timid nature prevented this.
"Um...my fox father's home was destroyed by the two-leggeds before I was born. S-So I was raised on the streets. S-sorry, but-but I don't rem-member the wild." She shook harder, hoping Storm wouldn't mind this.
Espio's oculi flashed over Storm suspiciously as she went up to his half-sister. He felt even more guilty for wanting to kill Triss, as he had told her his first reason for coming, and her eyes widened a bit but she said...she said she forgave him because she knew he had changed. So now he felt very protective of her, even if he didn't show it.
Storm's question, however, grabbed his attention. And although Trisscar said she couldn't remember it because Zorro's land had been destroyed, the hybrid brute remembered it. He had lived there for half of his life. Half a year after his birth...he remembered his German Shepherd mother telling him to go with Zorro, into the city. She tried to follow but was captured and/or killed by the two-leg folk. Zorro abandoned Espio when he was a yearling when he started visiting a runty Collie -- his sister's mom.
But instead of speaking up he cleared his throat and yawned again. A few announcements had been given, but he was waiting for the real meeting to start.
The ivory bruja turned and fixed her honey orbs on him. Suddenly he felt very awkward, but he had no idea why. "Hey Amaya," he yipped in greeting, recalling her name from the day he came to the borders. "The gang's really nice but -- not to sound rude, of course -- everyone's seemed too busy. Like, when Trisscar came in for the first time and healed the one dog...Reverie, right? And she doesn't really like all that attention. Everyone's been nice to me -- especially Triss, but it sometimes seems too much is going on. You've been here longer...you may think otherwise...." He lowered his head shamefully after watching the sadness in her eyes again as she looked away thoughtfully.
"What about you? What do you think...?" He gave a sigh and looked at her. "What's wrong?" He didn't hope she thought him too nosy. He could be making a friend, and he didn't want that to go away.

Storm nodded knowingly. "I know how you feel. The forest my father and his pack lived in was destroyed when I was old enough to search for it. It is alright if you don't remember, I often wondered if the pack would have accepted me, if I had gone. But it was too late." She sighed and nuzzled Triss comfortingly, seeing that the young fox-dog was shaking. What do you do as Shaman? Do you heal the members?"

She had listened to his reply and could only agree with what he had to say. Her being there longer did not change her opinion. Everyone was so busy and a lot of things were happening that she couldn't even keep track of. She could tell that Cody seemed a bit sad as well and it made her less tense. At least she wasn't alone on this one. She had been looking around once again before her gaze quickly turned back to Cody. It wasn't because she felt she was not paying attention to him but because she was a bit surprise by his question.
'What's wrong? Everything to put it simply.' Of course she did not speak it aloud. Her head slightly hung as it seemed she found a sudden interest in the ground. 'Well, he does at least deserve an answer.' She did not turn her gaze back to Cody but kept it focused on the ground. "I just feel so lonely even if I'm surrounded by the whole gang or I'm actually speaking to someone." Her tone was softer then usual and the sadness in her voice was much more clear.
She gave a deep sigh as she raised her head to look at the sky but still couldn't face Cody. "I really miss my old home because it looks much more like paradise then hell now." She meant nothing against her fellow gang mates but she wanted to be with others she actually knew. She loved her new home but it just didn't feel right in a way. Back home she would usually have her best friend Rai to turn to but she hadn't seen him in years. "I shouldn't be whining because I have a great home here." She gave a small apologizing glance to Cody before redirecting it once again.

(( Heh, a big gathering...that's okay, though! ^^ ))
The onyx fox-dog was very surprised when Storm nuzzled her, but her tail began swaying right away. What was it with her and those with wolven blood? It was a strange coincidence that now Storm was being nice to her like Valentina, but she was still a little shy.
"Yes, I heal others," she said, wondering why she had asked. She's probably just curious, she told herself, plume beating on the ground behind her.
The ebony brute padded into the crowd to stand in front of Triss. His eyes flashed distrustfully at Storm and Tyrant, who were the closest to Trisscar. "Has the meeting ended already?" he whispered to her, but Triss only smiled at him and looked at Storm.
"Yes, hello," he said impatiently, not tearing his sight away from his half-sister just yet. He gave a frustrated sigh and nosed his sister, then leaped into the crowd once more with a nod at Laion. Espio then sat in a dark corner, waiting for them to either be dismissed or for the meeting to continue.
Cody watched Amaya, now regretting asking her if it was okay. "I guess we both feel the same then," he said gently at last. "Yes." After adding this he touched his nose to Amaya's briefly and padded away to his original seat a few feet away from Espio.
(( Aww...Cody! ^^ Poor Amaya and Cody.... -huggles doggies- ))

"Ow! Stop it, Flip! Gerrof!" "You get off!" "No you!" "No, you!" "No- oof!"
Two young pups scrapped in the grass, their pelts shaggy and dark auburn in colour. Their muzzles were quite long, they're ears small and floppy.
"Hey, guys. Calm down now!" A pretty rhodesian ridgeback female called softly, but the pups payed little attention.
"Why do they fight so, mummy?" A little voice asked, and the adult looked down at another little puppy sitting by her side. This one also had a shaggy pelt, but his was a dark grey in color.
"Because they're silly, Jude. That's why." Chuckled the ridegback, bending her head to lick the pup fondly.
"Daddy!" The two fighting pups suddenly yipped, leaping apart from each other and scrambling towards a large dog bounding towards the group. He was an alsation, his pelt billowing behind him.
"Hello, Brick," The ridgeback cooed, getting to her feet with a smile as the male greeted the pups...
Dark brown occuli snapped open, shimmering with unshed tears. Aphro sighed heavily, closing her eyes again for a moment. Don't be upset, Aphro. Brick wouldn't want it. The pups wouldn't. You must live for them...
Her eyes opened again, and she hoisted herself to her feet. Her gaze swept over the clearing, and a smile spread across her maw. She must've been asleep for a long time, for in the time she was napping the hollow had filled wth dogs of all sorts.
This must be the gang. Aphro thought, thrusting her fore-legs forward, back curved as she streched with cat-like grace.
The dogs were milling about in no particular order. Eager to socialise, Aphrodites scanned the crowd quickly for a dog not yet engaged in conversation. Her dark chocolate occuli rested on Espio - lurking in a corner shrouded by shadows. Her smile grew broader, tail swaying slowly around her hocks as she began towards him.
"Hello," The femme said good naturedly as she reached the fox-dog, dipping her head in greeting and sitting next to him. "I'm Aphrodites. My friends cal my Aphro. I'm Tyrant's sister..." She gestured towards the Top Dog, then tilted her head at Espio.
"What's your name?" She asked brightly, eyes shining.

The black canine tore his gaze from his sister to watch a ridgeback femme approach him. He stared out into space as she spoke, then he growled softly, "Er...nice to meet you, Aphrodites." He looked up at her for a moment and then looked at the group of dogs blankly.
"Espio Nyoka." His mouth parted as he hissed the words in his usual indifferent voice. Although he never much felt like talking, he felt the more friends the better. He gave Aphro a quick glance, then puzzlement flashed over his face like when he first met Valentina. Somehow, both faes seemed familiar.
Espio looked away again, auds pinned to his skull, as he brought up memories from his original gang life. A dog that had a fairly similar build to a Rhodesian Ridgeback's, with white fur. And chilling blue pools for eyes.
Sarita. They reminded him of Sarita, that was it. He looked back at Tyrant's sister and said, "Nice to meet you anyway," as he had said before, forgetting this.

|The night is my friend|
Coffee brown optics continued to scan over all the dogs. A sigh was emitted as he didn't find the one he was looking for. Why was it that everyone left him? He thought that his search for someone to call his own was over. He could remember when he first met her but now all that left him was a pain in his heart. 'Ravage, have you truly abandoned me?' He mentally shook his head to rid him of such awful thoughts. But what if it was true that she had left? Would he forget about her and try to move on? He felt a great deal of confusion on what to do but did not show for others to see. He only hoped she would come back soon or he would just have to say good-bye. No one loved him because they thought he was just some demon waiting to ruin their lives.
|The dark is my ally|
He listened as they started to introduce themselves to one another. He was not sad but much rather a bit angered. If Ravage did not return soon then he didn't know what he would do. If she truly gave up on him then he wasn't going to suffer over her. Yes, a cold hearted beast he was but he didn't care. He wasn't one to get along so well but his natural speed and strength helped him through many battles. Well, he had nothing better to do so he laid down and just watched the others. None seemed truly interesting but was a but curious by the fox-dog named Trisscar.

I forget, have they met before? -checks old posts-

Dark brown eyes swept critically over the crowd as the assembled dogs split into groups and began to speak together. The Hollow was soon filled with chatter, and Reverie flicked her auds with an irritable grunt, getting to her feet - she had slipped to the edge of the Hollow to watch the meeting - and shaking her long, shaggy fawn coat.
Reverie paused in the act of seating herself again as a dog entered the Hollow to her right. She had not yet met him yet, but he smelled strongly of the gang, so he was obviously not a newcomer. The Esterela Mountain dog - being as unsociable as she was - did not know many dogs in the gang other than by scents and appearances. Very unlike the sociable Tyramt/
"What're you moping about?" Reverie asked shortly, instantly picking up on the fact that Leon was upset. She turned to the dog with raised eyebrows. "You've missed the meeting." She stated in a growl.
