He gently lifted his head. The thunder of paws still in his head. Then talking. He tried to get up. With some sucess. he tried to opn his eyes. Though pain came deeply. He pressed his nose to the gorund. Some were still here but others had moved on. he tried to see if anyone else was her. Though remebering his eyes he dare not to.

"I know! But wat if while we're all stranding around it comes back!" Valentina rested her head gratefully on Tyrant's shoulder as well, and took a deep breath as they drew apart. She managed to regain her collect composure. She knew she needed to stay in control...Tyrant was right. Fix the damage now, solve the problem later. We have to hurry, she thought. No one could stand another attack in this condition...
She stood back and watched, ready to jump in as Tyrant and Aphro lifted Espio. A small smile flitted across her black lips, but she quickly wiped it off and stepped forward to whisper somberly in his ear; "You're a brave fox, Espio." Her thick strawberry tail swayed behind her curvy haunches, still watching Aphro and Tyrant, long legs tense. There was a cautious look in her icy eyes, as though she were watching over the dogs and ready to spring at the next thing that moved.
As it turned out, that net thing was silver husky sitting not fgar off. The half-wolf hadn't caught her scent because of all the commotion and smell of blood, and Valentina noticed the dog about the same time Cody began padding up to her. She turned and nodded to Tyrant and Triss at the shaman's words, meaning that she would take care of Rade and guide him back to the Hollow. She trailed her eyes to the dog, and saw with a shock the true mess he was in, but then heard Cody's voice far off, and she whirled to slink off after him.
Her crystal pools had caught the looks the new femme had been giving their small group, and her eyes hardened. Valentina was not an emotional dog though, and din't show her annoyance with the husky or go out of her way to appear dominant. She simply walked up to the dog, nodded appreciatively to Cody, and said to her, lacking her usual style or playfullness, "What are you doing here?" her voice perhaps a bit more cold weary than it should have been, her eyes a little more discriminating. She visibly took in the dog, searching for the faintest attachment to the wolf or the situation, but her scent was nothing but foreign. She retunrned her gaze to the husky's own blue eyes, at last realizig she was not the right body-build to have caused such damage.

Rade had the scent of the other dog. The one he had smelled earlier. He now dipised the dog. She ahd not come to help but had just sat there watching the pain. He got up. This time though no pain came to his legs. He gently padded over to where the other dogs were talking to the other dog. he just sat there knowing she was a cold hearted dog. he knew he could do nothing though he was not useless. He could smell leading his way here. Though he knew he would never be able to find his way back to where all the over dogs were.

She watched as one took notice and padded over but was soon followed by a female. Optics were like ice as her gaze stayed on the two. So, they wished to know who she was? Well, why not just give them an answer. Kissers parted to release cool and emotionless tones as if not caring how the husken femoral had spoken to her. "I've come to join this little group of yours although it looks like I'm not welcomed and it seems the timing is a bit off. Have yourselves a little battle with a wolf?" She did not truly care for their replies as she could already tell they didn't like her. Oh well, that was their problem not hers. She could tell that she would have a slim chance of being accepted but now she wasn't as eager to join.
Yes, she had not run off to aid them but why should she have? They were canines she knew nothing of and had yet to show why she should care for them. It was not as if she had known them for quite a while. She barely trusted any when first meeting them and they would be no exception. She knew that she would get a cold reply but did not care for their tones toward her. They meant nothing to her as of yet seeing as loyalty was scarce in the husken femoral. She truly did not care for titles as they meant nothing unless the dog that held it deserved her respect and attention. She was calm and didn't care for the little group that was now around her. If any noticed they would remember not receiving a name from her. Why give out your name and let your enemies know who you are?

The scarlet femme pricked her velveteen ears at the husky's words, and gave her a questioning look. She turned to Rade as he limped over, and nudged his shoulder with her maw to let him know she was there beside him. "Just a minute and I'll take you home," she said quietly, then looked back to the silver femme.
A sarcastic smile flicked across her creamy maw, and she gave the femme the deep, mocking bow she gave them all, so low she had to lift her muzzle to the air to keep her nose from touching the ground. Her body posture humored the husky with the cold air about her, but her eyes matched the coolness. "Forgive me," she purred. "My name is Valentina. Of course you're welcome here, if you're sure it's where you want to be." She spoke the last part slowly, by way of a questioning tone. Her eyes betrayed not one thought.
"And yes," she said, her silken voice smooth and cold as ice as she took a step forward. "A little fight you could say..." she nodded her head silently in the direction of Rade, guiding the husky's eyes to Rade's bloodied face, thinking perhaps the tragedy of his condition would get through to her. "Maybe you could even find it in your heart to help." she said with a smile, and turned away from the her to nudge Rade, and press her side against him to he could follow her. "Just stick with me and I'll take you there." she said in his ear, and began to walk away.

Rade did as Valentina said and stuck right by her. making sure that her coat was all ways there to stop him making a wrong turn. He thought about what had happened as he was guided. The wolf. He know guessed. But he knew a wolf dog had been there. Why did it attack. He could not understand. So he kept his mind on where he was going. But then. The wolf had brought one thing into his life that he had not had since he was with his humans. Kindness. And for that one thing. He seemed to thank the wolf for. But everything else. Espio and Cody. What he done to him as well. He hated the wolf for.

Cody let out a low growl as the husky replied, and grinned at Valentina's words. "But then again, you don't seem like the kind-hearted one," he mumbled to her, trotting away behind the wolf-dog. He stumbled heavily on his bad leg and scrambled to keep up, a frown plastered on his face as he looked back at Sly.

Reverie's sharp eyes were drawn to a white dog standing a bit to her left, black dots strewn pell-mell across his pelt. She looked him over, noticing that he was quite cut up. But the wounds were old...
He'll do. Reverie thought gruffly, annoyed that Laion had not answered her call. The wolf would have been ideal for her scouting mission.
Thick pelt bristling, Reverie paced over to Jake, stopping squarely in front of him.
"You." She adressed him in a snap. "You're coming with me. We'll take a look 'round and see if the attacker's still here."
She met his gaze for a moment with blazing dark eyes, then turned and stalked off, her tail high.

Jake was still abosrbed in the scene before him when a large, thick coated dog stalked over to him and snapped at him.
For a moment, holding her gaze, Jake felt his black-and-white hackles bristle. Who is she? He asked himself. He was a bit unnerved, finally being noticed.
As she walked off, Jake threw one more look at the bloodied ground in front of him and gulped.
He turned and trotted after her, wondering what the heck he had just got himself into.
(ooc- Tyrant, post somewhere!!! lol. )
