The slender husky sat down in front of a great bush. With no where else to go he decided that he should try and be friendly. He sniffed the ground for any sign of anyone else. He smelled that another one had claimed. With a look on his face that showed he was only looking. He trotted of around. No one. He sat down in front of the bush. He looked at the bush. It seemed almost hypnotic, and as he fell asleep. He seemed to dream of the grass and another dog. Another dog?

Paws, dainty compared to the size of the dog who worked them, kissed the earth gentley as a rhodesian dirge-back female made her way to the borders. Her light auburn pelt slid easily over her strong muscles, and her dark eyes flashed as she stared ahead of her.
Aphrodites was not even quite sure where she was going. She was just walking. Getting some excersise, some fresh air, working her muscles which were stiff from sleep and sitting.
Her gaze fell upon the husky, Rade, lying by a large, naked bush, deeply asleep. His sides rose and fell evenly, and Aphrodites smiled as she approached him.
The husky's scent was alien - he was obviously not one of the gang. So, Aphro lowered her head, her muzzle near his ear.
"Hello," She said softly, hoping she didn't startle him.[/color]

Rade rolled over. He felt something. Below his ear. It almost felt like his mothe............ He woke up. "Wh.... What...whos there." He got up on full alert. But then saw the dog in front of him. "Yellow, What might you?" Rade had been taught in discipline not 'Fancy' Politeness. Well that was what the lead dog had always said.

He looked at the dog. He had seen one before. A rhodesian dirge-back. There had been one back at base camp. He knew that this dog was part of this land, for her scent was different then any he had seen. So, do you want something. Or did you just wake me up for no reason. He knew that before long he would be of again before a top dog came.

Aphro giggled as Rade awoke, lifting her head and stepping back. He was obviously still tired, for his words made little sense. What might you? Yellow? Aphro smiled kindly at him, deciding to wait for him to organise his thoughts and recover.
Finally, a sentence that made sense reached her ears. Unlike Reverie, who would have taken this as on offence and snarled or snapped, Aphro simply laughed in a good natured way.
"I just woke you up for no reason." She said ernestly, cutting off her laugh and staring Rade seriously in the eye. Then, she giggled again and broke eye contact.
"I woke you up to speak with you, and to tell you that you're on a gangs lands." She smiled. "Do you want to join the gang...?"

He looked at the dog. "Well, yes. I would like to join the gangs or something It was his turn to laugh now. The way the dog had said. But then he felt funny. He started coughing. But settled down again.

Deep indigo pools flashed from behind a bush. An onyx brute leapt out, sailing over another bare plant and landing besides Aphro. Realizing this must have shocked her, he dipped his head in...embarrasment? It was unusual to let any emotion slip through his dark mask. "And you are?" he snarled at the husky, instantly not liking him.
And although he barely noticed it himself, as the Rhodesian Ridge-back and the husky both laughed the fur along his spine bristled madly and he bared his fangs a little bit...
Next a white shape hopped beside Espio, and the unmistakable friendly brown eyes of Cody looked into the hunter's. "Excuse me, miss," he said to Aphro in a purring tone, "but I do believe it is my job to welcome in potential gang members!" He laughed until the fox-dog lunged for him and he skidded out of the way quickly, tripping in the snow.
He offered them a weak smile. "Haha...I...er...meant to do that..."

Rade stood back a bit as more dogs came in. For some reason he felt a bit confused. There was to much going on for a dog like him to understand. But he came to terms with it and tried to make an effort. "And who might you be? He needed to know what was going on until he could really join the pack.

Aphro watched Rade through laughter filled eyes, a warm smile playing across her muzzle. A sudden disturbance in the bushes behind her caused her to turn her head and Espio and Cody both suddenly leapt out. She frowned as the large fox-dog growled at Rade, but before she could speak to him Cody approached her. She smiled down at the dog, giggling, not unkindly, as he stumbled.
"Hello Espio." She said, her voice light. "This is Rade... he wishes to join the gang." She raised an eyebrow, leaning into the black dog as if she were going to nudge him. As her shoulder brushed his, she whispered into his ear.
"Lighten up!" She breathed, a teasing note to her voice. She leaned away again and met his eyes, grinning, then turned to Cody.
"I actually don't think we've met..." She said, tilting her auburn head to the side. "I'm Aphro!" She reached a paw forward to Cody in a friendly gesture. Then, she turned back to Rade as he questioned the other two males.

OoC: hehe if I've power-played anyone, feel free to correct me! I've never done a fight scene before! I love you guys! The breathing was what you heard first; it was heavy and raucous, a sound like wind attempting to rip apart the animal's lungs. His onyx fur was thick and matted from neglect, and it seemed that thousands of spikes covered his body. He forever bristled, the spikes writhing and twitching like quills between his shoulder blades, like a porcupine's quills.
He was too thin. There was not an ounce of fat underneath the black and chestnut fur, his shoulder blades jutting out with every step, the outline of his ribs more visible than healthy.
He was too thin, but he was huge. Steely muscles pulled his weight endlessly, and they were visible. His long, limber legs were powerful, his enormous paws, perhaps three or four times the size of a Saint Bernard's, were caked in mud, the once dark-gold fur appearing almost black. From the filth jutted enormous black talons, which dug deeply in the frozen ground with every long stride.
He was a wolf, just as Laion was. Laion, however, was not the full-size of a wolf, large though he was. This wolf, on the other hand, was full size, if not larger. His shoulder rose a full five inches above Laion's. In fact, the only difference between Laion and this wolf, was the deeper color of brown where Laion was dark gold, the sheer size difference, and the truly wolven golden eyes.
Suddenly he froze on his path of pushing deliberately through the barren bushes that whipped his face and went ignored, as a series of live scents struck him. He raised his head, light catching his amber eyes, and you could see that they were extremely dilated despite the light. His leathery nares flared, and the wind whistled through his senses, and what he had left of a mind. His last truly coherent thought had been a feeling of unbearable sadness, and hate for the world. After that, it was a haze of blackness and hatred, and he became the pure element of the wild; a savage, taking his feeling out on every thing that moved before him.
It was a miracle he'd avoided capture by the humans so long, but he had kept to the dark alleys after attacking a car, and getting hit by it.
He lowered his head again. Dark eyes flicking to the ground somberly, and he pressed on, a low, steady growl sounding from his jaws. It was deep and menacing, but it was peculiar; it had a smooth, liquid tune to it, showing the faintest hint of the calm, clear-headed individual it used to belong to.
It broke off abruptly when he finally pushed through the bushes to stand before the small group of dogs. For a moment he was still, and silent, save for his breath. Slowly he raised his head and looked at them all in turn. His eyes roamed over the husky, the chestnut femme, the large black dog with midnight eyes, and rested on the smaller white male that appeared to be stumbling in the snow, or having just recovered.
Then, without any warning, he leaped from where he was standing to the white and brown dog, with intentions of striking him with his forepaws to send him rolling. Not a snarl escaped his lips as he put fang to Cody, however he turned away before he found out whether or not the enormous white tooth had made contact with his flesh anywhere.
This happened incredibly fast, and in an instant he was off of Cody and charging the blue-eyes husky. He turned course and ran beside the dog, attempting to shoulder him. He also stuck out a fore paw between Rade's front legs so that if the shoulder hit, and the dog was rammed, he would not just fall to the side but trip as well. He then spun around again and appeared to slide along the ground in blinding speed, fangs upturned as he attacked the black dog, who excited him even more as he sensed the wild blood that coursed through his veins as well.
He lunged for the throat, a fore paw held curled beneath him as he flew, ready to reach out and strike Espio in the side if he could, and only if he missed.
After this he swiftly turned upon the final dog he had yet to attack, and he paused, something flickering through his crazed eyes. She was a female, and this held him back, but only for an instant. You see, his hate for the world and desire to wreak vengeance upon it was so powerful, it overwhelmed the thousands of years of instincts within him, including attacking females. His eyes roamed over her, and then he struck out with his maw, attempting to strike her in the leg, and whip his head around a bite her other deeply before he jumped away from them all, circling around, ready to face any of them who dared to fight back.

Rade fell back and tripped over to. He turned to the dog who had attacked him. He almost looked like a husky. But no he had seen a dog like that before. No, not a dog, A wolf.
He limply got up and snarled. He had been attacked many times before but neither from a wolf. Dogs had attacked him but none of that size. As he rose a pain struck him in the chest. I went wild in him. But he ignored it. As he watched the wolf go for the kind female.
"Why have you....Att.....Attacked." He stumbled upon words but then with no thought at all he lept for a tackle at the wolf. But knowing he was only a bit taller then a average husky, it would have only made the 'Wolf dog' Turn and go for him.
His plan. He did not want the wolf to hurt the Fae. She had been kind to him. Something he had never felt in a while. He went. His hardest tackle. It hit hie enemy. But he wondered whether it had taken affect.

After striking Aphro's foreleg with his maw, the wolf had turned to gnash her other leg, but a force struck his hind end, and his fangs clipped nothing but fur. He jumped back and was circling around the outside of the small group, eyes set on the one that had landed a blow on him. A pain at the base of his tail throbbed, but it did't register, just provoked his desire to do nothing but kill. What must have happened played through his mind; he'd struck the dog, and rolled him. Upon doing this he'd left his own hindquarters unprotected, focusing on what was ahead of him, and the husky had regained footing and charged him back. He stopped pacing, and lowered his head to stare at the husky with a golden glare.
He pinned his black ears back, which were nothing but shreds after picking so many fights, and raised his lips in a silent snarl, as he stepped forward to squarely face the husky. His head was hung low, as was the normal stance of a wolf, keeping the neck protected, and his tail hung limp behind him from being dislocated from the husky's blow. The pain was excruitiating, but to him, he felt hardly more than an itch. Rade was brave, facing up to one no matter the odds, and didn't deserve to die...but none of this crossed the wolf's mind.
But then something peculiar happened; the wolf's eyes flicked from Rade to a spot just over his shoulder, and then back again. He lunged forward, head low, forelegs outstretched so as to take the husky's front legs at the joints, while his jaws were stretched wide and aiming at the face instead of the neck, with full intentions of blinding him. After making contact(or not) the wolf kept going without changing direction, and dissapeared into the barren bushes just as Laion came flying out. Unless one had been watching the bushes the entire time, no one would have noticed the switch in the wolves; they had the exact same markings, the only difference in height and eye color.
Laion found himself standing in the middle of the dogs snarling and bristling. He'd caught the scent of the hostile wolf and had thrashed through the underbrush to catch him, and now he was gone just as he'd gotten here. He was completely confused. He looked at them all in turmoil, and though he stopped growling his fur continued to bristle and his ears to twitch as he saw the blue-eyed husky whom the other wolf had attacked. His eyes widened, upon instantly realizing he was in yet another situation that looked bad. "I...uuh..." his spastic gaze then roamed to the ground and locked onto the tracks that lead back into the brush. They were enormous prints, a full half-size larger than his own, and he himself towered over all the dogs as it was. Then without saying a word, his gaze hardened and he whirled, diving into the brush, kicking up snow as he went.

OOC: -pokes Val- You did the last post four times! lol The ebony renard's auds twitched as Rade questioned him. He was about to snarl, "I asked you first", when Aphrodites introduced him as Rade. He frowned, then gave her a hint of a smile.
And when she told him to lighten up he only grunted in response, but as she turned back he mumbled, "I'm evil. I can't." and nosed her cheek quickly. He was beginning to like Aphro a bit... She wasn't very judging but wanted him to "lighten up". It was like half of Sarita was still with him. As Cody struggled to his paws he bit down on his long plume and jerked him back so he was sitting in the snow. The naive dog stuck his tongue out at the fox-dog and muffled a laugh, and without realizing it Espio's tongue shot out mockingly as well.
The blue heeler mix then turned to Aphro, grinning. "I'm Sir Cody Barkin's the Handsome," he barked, wagging his tail vigorously. Espio's black mitt shot out to cuff him around the ears and he whimpered, "Oww! Uh...I'm Cody...a scout...nice to meet you..."
Suddenly a lupine ebonite shape exploded into view, and a hefty paw swung out to bowl the white dog over and over. He struggled to his feet but got nicked with the ivory dagger of the great wolf. As that happened the contact with just the creature's maw sent him tumbling to the side, and he lay, growling very quietly. Shakily Cody rose to his paws to fall over again, realizing that the fangs caused more damage than he had expecting. A large, shallow slash in his left front limb wept blood, painting the white terra with crimson drops.
After witnessing what the onyx beast did to Cody, Espio watched the husky coldly as he got attacked. Protect Aphro. Protect her... Protect. Kill. Instinct rose into a chant ni his mind, and he leapt in front of the auburn belle, snarling menacingly.
The brute leapt for him, and he knew his target. He lowered his head in a second, mane bristling. But in that next moment cruel reality crept in. His skull and neck was like a shield to Aphrodites. If it was lowered, the wolf could go sailing over the half-fox and into Aphro. The very second he lifted his cranium, the fangs made contact, and a black mitt shot out to pound against his trunk.
His throat was bleeding. A lot. A defiant snarl rose in his throat, then fell to a small rumble, soon turning into a gasp. Espio's indigo pools met dark, and he crumpled into the snow at Aphro's paws. I have failed.
Cody recovered from his shock to see that his hybrid friend was the next victim. He choked back a wail as he staggered closer, but he saw that the wolf had another new target: Aphro. "Aph --" His shout was curtailed as he saw Rade going for the wolf, and as the brute turned to attack him he closed his eyes.
Long ago, his sister had been murdered. And Cody destroyed her killer: their brother. If he had killed before, he would again. But since Aphro had escaped the blow, he guessed, he couldn't let the wolf's oppurtunity arise again. He limped over to her, standing in front of her, over Espio. Hope welled up in his chest as he saw a slight movement in the hunter's flank; he was alive! He watched another wolf leap into view. He didn't see much of what happened, and could only grasp that the danger was gone.
The scout looked at Aphrodites without speaking, then backed away from the unconcious half-breed. "Es...Espio's still alive..." He informed the Ridgeback, brown optics washing over her for any injuries.

Ooc: Woops! -deletes posts- NO ESPIOOOOOOO!!! I liked him!! Reminds me of when Val threw herself infront of Espio to protect Tyrant...funny how we all switched like that! Well...that was Jaegar folks! Come and gone in two posts...everybody be on the look out. BIC: Creamy mitts pounded the ground rapidly, carrying the vuluptuous husky dog across the snow in a blur of fiery red. She'd been following a new scent, having just come back from patrolling the city with Tyrant. She'd wandered off on her own however, to think about Laion's situation, and the funny look he'd had about him the last time she saw him. But then she caught a hostile scent, heard a muffled growl, and had taken off running.
She arrived on the scene, and skidded to a halt next to Aphro. The half-wolf held a collect expression on her face, but those who knew her well could see the way her eyes darted about showed how scared she was for what had just happened. The snow had been kicked up and every where the deep brown earth showed through like dark wounds, and there was blood splattered everywhere. Her icy eyes flicked from dog to dog, surveying the damage.
Cody lay with a scarlet cloud blooming in the snow beneath him, the new husky seemed to have taken alot of damage as well, and Espio appeared dead at Aphro's feet. At this her black lips fell open, and she gave Aphro a quick, meaningful glance, eyes roaming over the faes face, as if she were looking for either an explination or condolence. She padded forward, head hung low , velvet auds pinned back.
She touched the black fox-dog, whom she herself had once been prepared to fight, prodding him lightly with her paw. It passed trough her mind the tears he'd shed when he found his sister, the way his indigo eyes softened when they first met...she'd hated him then, but now she wanted nothing more than for him to open them again.
She threw her head back and let out a long, piercing howl, calling for Tyrant. Surely he'd know what to do.
Then she heard the tiny whisper of Espio's breath, and realized with a jolt he was still alive. She didn't eactly know what to do, but she nudged his ear with her maw, then looked to Aphro again. He was laying at her feet, after all. Valentina didn't suspect that she'd done it, but rather deduced that he'd been defending her, seeing as she was the only one relatively un-damaged. "What happened?" she asked softly.

Rade fell to the floor. The wolf had hit him right on target. And it looked bad. Rade tryed to open his eyes. But only pain and darkness came to his vision. He could hear another one. As he rose the pain struck again in his chest. He had helped the Fae. Well he hoped. He could see nothing. It had seemed like that was the intention of the 'wolf Dog'. He cryed out in pain. Though he could still see and hear. And his legs only seemed to lose there balence. But the he was covered in scars. "Help. Somebody. Can't see. Anything." He tryed to get up. But the pain in his chest struck again. And he again cryed out in pain. He couls smell active scents close. And could hear talking but he was not sure whether they were coming for him.
OOC: I don't know why i let my dog go blind?? But its a new challenge.
