A coal-black figure cautiously stalked through the shadows, her fangs flashing as she lifted her lips to snarl. A scent border, the closest she had ever come to home. Storm detested gangs as a mockery of wolf packs, yet here she was, because she had found them to be the opposite. Gangs were held together by a leader and had ranks. They seemed to be what she desired most.
She had to get it over with sometime. She raised her pure ebony muzzle and howled, a signal of questioning, asking acceptance.

Night had enveloped the land, and the light that flooded the parks borders was purely artificial - radiating from the bulbs fitted into the lamp posts that lined the street running parallel to the fence that hugged the park.
All was quite for a moment, eerily quiet, then a howl split the air, trembling and wavering as it rose t'wards the heavens. Auburn ears were perked, and a pair of chocolate hued eyes widened, glowing with warmth.
A tall, slender body slipped from behind a large, naked bush, paws making deep inprints in the thick snow. Brown eyes rested upon the dark form of the female wolf, and a small smile split Aphro's maw. She knew she was on track to find her brother, his scent lingered everywhere. As this thought entered her mind, she felt excitement pulse through her body. How happy he would be to see her! How she wished to see him!
But their reunion could be post poned for a moment longer. Aphro had always been a social creature, and she was curious as to what a wolf was doing in a park in the center of a city.
"Hello?" The femme said, her voice soft and slightly musical as she padded to Storm's side and dipped her head in greeting.
"I'm Aphro Mozae, may I ask your name?" She smiled, eyes sparkling, as she awaited the femme's answer.

Storm's head swivelled to gaze at the stranger. "Greetings, I am Storm." Her golden orbs flashed with lightning as she stared at the dog. "Do you know of a.. gang I could join?" She asked the question even though she hated doing it. Her black pelt seemed to be made of the night as she growled softly. She had never spoken to a dog as if it was an equal before, and she wasn't likely to do it again. ((Short post, sorry.))

Aphro smiled, dipping her head once more as she learned the femme's name. Brow furrowed at Storm's question, and she tilted her head to the side.
"I don't-" She was cut short by a series of deep barks, coming from the depths of the dark park. Her kindly heart leapt at the sound. She knew that bark well, and, with the scent that filled her nares, it felt almost as if her brother was standing by her side now.
Now's the time! Aphro thought, slender banner thrashing the air, eyes wide, twinkling with glee.
Turning to Storm, Tyrant's sister dipped her head.
"Sorry, but I must go... come with me if you want. I'm not sure, but I think this land may belong to a gang..."
Aphro knew she didn't make much sense, but now that she had worked herself up to seeing her brother, she was extremely excited. A broad grin was flashed at the dark wolf-dog, then Aphro was off, bounding away from the borders, gait slightly clumsy in her unrational haste. [/color]

Storm followed, puzzled. The deep barking seemed to mean something to the dog, perhaps it was a relative that she knew. Her long loping strides covered the ground quickly as she ran, uncertain of where she was going. Her long, plumed tail stretched out behind her because of her haste.
