When Trisscar heard Tyrant's question, she gave a small laugh and whispered, head bowed, "Lord Tyrant, I am afraid I don't know what happened myself! But I couldn't let you or Valentina get hurt . . ."
She just noticed the sharp pain in her side, and she looked in horror at the long, but not deep cut. It seemed that as Espio whirled his ivory fangs struck her side, but in all of the confusion and excitement she didn't feel this pain.
But now it was here, and it was strong. She tried not to show her pain but she failed in masking it. And when she witnessed the affection between her friends - although she wasn't sure of calling Tyrant a very good friend yet - she smiled, her eyes closing. In that second of a blink, two indigo orbs burned in her mind. That was sweet, she thought, but I have a feeling that couldn't have been good . . .

Tyrant smiled at Trissacar's reply, and his jaws opened to speak when the femme suddenly turned her head, eyes filling with horror as she gazed at a long, shallow gash in her side. Tyrant followed her gaze, then gave a soft growl, instantly at her side.
"Are you alright, Triss?" He asked, bending his head to lick the wound gentley before staring her in the eye. Her pain was displayed there, althought she tried to hide it. Tyrant gave a soft chuff, lifting his head to gaze past Trissacar.
"Let's go back to the hollow. You can rest and use you're herbs to help with your gash there." He said, turning and smiling kindly down at the fox-dog.
"Do you think you'll be able to walk there?" Tyrant knew the wound was not too serious, but he thought it best to ask - just in case.

[This is gonna be kinda short - SORRY! Do we join in on "Strider Visiting Reverie"?)) The black femme almost ducked when Tyrant stooped to lick her wound, but instead she only flinched. She was bewildered when he fussed over the gash. Get used to it, she told herself. These dogs are really kind.
She then lowered her head as she whispered, "Yes, I believe I can walk." But there was no humor in her voice. "And . . . I think I saw Valentina limping. I have too look back at her cut. It may also be a good idea to check on . . . the mountain dog back at the hollow."

Golden maw held to ground, a limber shadow loped quietly onto the scene. His inky blue ears flicked excitedly; he knew he was close. He knew he was on another's territory; he'd only come across a few since his stay in the city, but he learned quickly that gang lands were marked in much the same fashion as wolf packs. He was well aware of this...and none too concerned.
He could smell her scent, but when he looked up, startled to find a large male and what appeared to be a fox the only two in sight of his aqua orbs, his heart sank. He was positive he was on the right track though, and he stopped, looking at them from a distance, then took a deep breath and padded forward, head low and tail swaying behind him. He hadn't spoken to anyone, wolf or dog in half a year, and as he approached he thought with a cringe that they would recognize him for what he was instantly; a wolf.
And indeed he was wolf in everything he was; his long, lean legs were clearly not husky's, and the way he moved was smooth and steely. His blue eyes looked a bit hurt at the thought, but he tended to carry an intense, pained look about him often, never worrying that others could read him like a book.
He stopped several feet away from the odd pair, and dipped his head low in a bow, his black ears pinned back, trying to look as approachable and harmless as possible, despite the fact he doubted this was possible. He was a wolf, and he was dangerous. He'd killed dogs as prey, and despite his good heart, he would always be something wild.
"Er, a-hem," he coughed lightly, pinning his ears back until they almost disappeared into the inky fur of his neck. He kept his head low and looked up at the large rhodesian ridgeback with an apologetic expression. "I, I'm so sorry to invade, but..." his intense blue eyes kept glancing around nervously, as though she might show up at any second and make his life a thousand times easier. "I-I'm looking for someone...for my sister...her name is Valentina. Have you, by any chance, seen her?"
He didn't sit but remained standing, heart in his throat, tail waving anxiously behind. It had been so long since he'd seen her, and it was a miracle he had even come so close. But he was sure this was the place; he could smell her, and he would find her if she was this close, no matter what these two told him. He was trying his best to be as polite as possible, but if they lied to him, he would most definitely ravage the property and see for himself that she was not there. It's just the way the wolf was; fiercely loyal to those he cared about, and if she was his only living relative, he would do anything to get to her.

Tyrant nodded as Triss spoke, and his eyes suddenly filled with concern. He, too, had noticed Valentina's limp, but he had been too caught up in... What /was/ I caught up in? He thought, puzzled.
"Reverie." He stated his friend's name to Triss for future referece, smiling. "And yes, I think that'd be a good idea... Come," He said, partly turning, gaze still trained on Triss. "Let's go. If you need to stop, or require assistance, tell me and I'll gladly oblige." He grinned, then turned around completely, lifting a paw to take the first step towards the hollow...
Laion's scent hit him like a battering ram, and he whirled sharply about, sniffing the air, brown eyes scanning the land for any signs of the wolf.
And there he was, loping towards the Top Dog and Shaman. Tyrant blinked. He had never come across a pure bred wolf. Many half breeds, such as Valentina, but never a creature with pure wolven blood pumping through their veins. Laion's scent was similair to Valentina's, but it was wilder, more pungent, more alien than the one that Tyrant had grown used to.
The ridgeback watched as Laion bowed, and he instantly relaxed the muscles he hadn't even realised had been tense. His encounter with Espio had left him feeling even more protective of his loved ones, and he found that he had placed a paw firmly in front of Triss, which he removed now.
Floppy ebonite auds perked as Laion spoke, and Tyrant's eyes widened, his plume beginning to sway from side to side, a smile curving his maw.
I didn't even know she had siblings! What I wouldn't do to see Aphro again... He thought, biting his lip for a moment at the thought os his sister But he soon shook his sadness away - now wasn't the time for mourning.. She'll be so happy to find that her brother's returned!
"That's quite alright," Tyrant began, voice deep and welcoming. "And yes. I do know your sister. She is, in fact, a member of my gang. Which you are welcome to join if you wish."
Tyrant's smile broadened, his tail speeding up as he gazed kindly at Valentina's brother.

Slowly he raised his head up as the dominant male before him spoke. A half-grin split his features and he let out a relieved laugh, his black and gold tail speeding up behind him. He was amazed that he would invite him into their gang so immediately; before he knew his name even. Furher shocking him was the fact they were so open to a wolf, since his encounters so far with canines left them not trusting him, instantly afraid of something 'wild.' Most took an instant hate to Laion...he now knew why it was that his sister would end up here, above all other packs.
He nodded his head, crazy blue eyes excited. "Yes-yes that would be great...sure I'll join you're pa-uh, gang!" he stumbled over his words when he got talking quickly, his characteristic little half-grin still curving the side of his mouth. He then stepped forward and took to looking about quickly, as though she might be right here. Energy and adrenaline were surging through his wolven veins and even though he was stationary, he wasn't still at all. His muscles pulled under his thick fur impatiently. "Uh, I'm Laion," he added, managing to keep his somewhat spastic gaze on them each for two seconds in turn, again offereing a low but fast bow that almost hit his nose off the ground.
Laion didn't say anymore, but attempted to refrain himself from bounding down the trail of her scent. He waited for the little fox and the large dog to finish before going to wherever, whom he would follow. He sat down, but it looked like a pained action for him to seat his lithe, pumped body. His position wasn't relaxed, as best he tried, and he was leaning forward the slightest bit. Underneath his inky tail, which had wrapped itself naturally across his paws, his ebony talons dug into the earth.

Tyrant watched Laion with silent amusement, a small smile curving his lips. He observed the dog's tense muscles, and the fact that he could not keep still for longer than about five minutes. A soft chuckle was released.
"Welcome to the gang, Laion," Tyrant began calmly, his voice warm and kind. "I'm sure you're impatient to see Valentina again, so I shall lead you to her - and the hollow, where you will be staying from now on."
The rust red Top Dog dipped his head, plume held high, then turned and began to pad slowly away from the borders, making sure not to walk too fast so that Trissacar could cope.
"Our shaman is injured, and so our pace will be slow." He halted once more and turned his head to Laion.
"If you wish, you may go ahead. Valentina's scent is still strong..." he suddenly thought of Reverie lying in the Hollow. What if shewas awake?
"Oh, and if you encounter any... difficulty... say that I, Tyrant, sent you." He smiled, hoping that Reverie had awoken, but at the same time hoping that she did not give Laion any trouble because of his wolf heritage.... He doubted it, though. Reverie was harsh, and judging. But discrimanitve she was not.
"Come, Triss, you need to rest," Tyrant finished by saying, then continued to walk steadily towards the Deserted Woodland - towards Home.

The wolf sprang to his feet once more as Tyrant started toward the direction of the Hollow, half grin blinking on and off. He took a few quick paces next to the top dog, looking back at the fox twice, then nodded quickly in understanding.
Any difficulty? Laion looked puzzled at this, cocking his head to the side, but then thought, well, how difficult can it be? He muttered, "Nicetomeetyou, Tyrant," it came out in kind of a blur, but the wolf must have thought it was perfectly coherent since he didn't try again. He flashed his half-grin.
Even though it had only been a couple of steps, the slow pace was killing him. He could smell that he was closer every second, and every wild nerve in his body screamed at him to run. Instead he managed to calm down for about half a second, shake his head, then utter politely, "Erm, yes...I think I'll go on ahead, if you don't mind." His inky black auds flattened themselves back quickly out of respect, but they sprang back up atop his head, seemingly out of no where.
He gave both Tyrant and the black fox an apologetic look with his crazy blue eyes---which rested for about a second and a half on them each---then with no warning took off with such dazzling speed that it was impossible to tell that he had been near-stationary a second ago, not in a full-out run. His bounds were completely silent, save for the light whisper of grass under his hind paws once or twice, and then he crashed into the underbrush with an "OW!" before disappearing from sight and sound completely.
